A catch-all email mailbox receives email messages sent to inactive addresses under the exact same domain name. For example, a message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can receive messages from buddies or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a typographical error or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be sent to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox effortlessly in case you’ve got a website hosting account with us. The Email Manager tool in our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet stunningly intuitive, and it will enable you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with just several clicks. All the email addresses that you have created will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and on the right-hand side of each one of them you will notice a small "Catch-all" icon. Clicking it once will enable the feature, clicking on it once again will deactivate it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you already have a different mailbox with this option enabled or if you’ve got activated email forwarding.
